Here's a new video showing how ICE (my latest tooling wax) casts: http://www.willowproducts.com/media/videos/ICE_cast.wmv
Here's it coming out of mold:

Be sure to see the other posts demonstating the ADO tool for laying down ICE or other waxes quickly and cheaply. I've had several folks asking about casting waxes. My waxes melt quite a bit lower than most. 200f will liquify all mine. But my suggestion is that ALL waxes should be melted as low as possible. Doing what chefs so with chocolate is a good idea. Basically you melt pot until there's a small unmelted chunk in the center, turn off the heat, and let the liquid melt provide heat enough to melt remainder, stirring all along. While this sounds difficult, I assure you it become 2nd nature quickly. The lower temp accomplishes several things:
1) Less shrinkage
2) Less chance of sticking to mold
3) Quicker cool
4) Minimizes separation in melt
5) easier to control pour
