One solid piece of wax, no armature, 7 inches. Now, I can handle this piece all day long just adding to it and subtracting from it using dripping, carving, whatever. I could pick this up by the wrist (the weakest part) and hold it between my thumb and forefinger. and it would be just like picking up a piece of ...solid wax lol. What I'm saying is that it's easily strong enough on it's own to sculpt on easily. The cool thing is that you can expect the same results on even larger pieces, at least up to 12 inch scale certainly. Then let's say you want to cut it up when you're done to cast it. I mean...it's wax! Just cut right through it. I would personally use a wire armature on something like this, but a jeweler's saw could cut right through it no problem._________________My painted mini gallery at CMON http://www.coolminiornot.com/submitter/darkstar Deviantart page http://cheebees.deviantart.com/
