


Gerald Gore continues to amaze many with his textures. I think the key to his success is that he just gets on with the work at hand. He doesn't have a wax pen! But yet look at the results.
Gerald says: " The details are still pretty rough and need a lot of fine tuning. For the top section of the tail I created little strips or clumps of wax that were added to various stages of the tail. The base texture on the neck is created with a rock (strategically creating a pattern into the wax) The balls of wax on top of that were added piece by piece. The nose was carved line by line with a sharp tool. I don't have a wax pen yet so I do most of the carving and shaping with loop and dental tools. Hope that helps.
